Dermaplaning / dermal planing is a simple yet effective procedure to exfoliate the epidermis and rid the skin of fine vellus hair. A scalpel and delicate touch are used to scrape away dead skin cells and vellus hair (peach fuzz) resulting in a relaxed procedure. The dermalplaning shows newer, younger skin and stimulates the production of new cells to improve the health of the skin. Active ingredients can also then penetrate into the deeper layers of the skin. Expect to immediately have brighter, softer, smoother skin that glows.

Often clients are concerned that their hair will grow stronger and darker after dermalplaning, however that is not the case as the superficial vellus hair will grow back at the same rate and texture. For any individual dark hairs, IPL or electrolysis is recommended.

Swedish Massage

The most common type of massage is Swedish massage therapy. It involves soft, long, kneading strokes, as well as light rhythmic tapping strokes, on topmost layers of muscles. This is also combined with movement of the joints. By relieving muscle tension, Swedish therapy can be both relaxing and energizing.

Electrolysis treatment is a method used to remove hair permanently. Using sterile, disposable needles which are very fine, this state of the art technique destroys the cells which cause hair growth. By passing a very low current of electricity through the needle, which has been inserted to the hair follicle and into the area which nourishes the hair (the papilla), the hair follicle’s ability to regenerate is destroyed, thus permanently preventing regrowth.
