Mole & Skin Cancer Checks
Worried about a mole? At Transform Clinic, we offer comprehensive skin cancer checks to screen for melanoma & other types of skin cancer.
Skin cancer is the most common form of cancer in New Zealand, with nearly 100,000 cases each year. Fortunately, most skin cancers can be cured with early detection and treatment. And at Transform, that’s our top priority.
How it Works
Our quick, non-invasive, and painless screening software rapidly & accurately diagnoses melanoma in just a few minutes.
Developed by skin specialists, SIAscopy (Spectrophotometric Intracutaneous Analysis) is the premier melanoma screening technology to accurately diagnose and manage skin cancer and develop a treatment plan.
SIAscopy works by emitting harmless light into the skin to evaluate the distribution of melanin, collage, and haemoglobin. By analysing the reaction between the light and these elements, as well as comparing the light sent in vs. out, SIAscopy is able to determine whether or not the mole is cancerous.
Frequently Asked Questions
Do you offer skin cancer treatment?
We do not offer skin cancer treatment or removal, only diagnosis. For treatment, we recommend speaking to a dermatologist.
However, we do offer mole removal for benign skin cancers and photodynamic therapy (PDT) to treat pre-cancerous, sun-damaged skin.
