New to Dunedin: Procell Therapies

New treatments at Transform Clinic Dunedin!

This year, we’re offering some incredible options to rejuvenate, refresh, and renew your skin at our Dunedin Clinic. And we have added more availability with Cherie, Dr Little and Karen all holding regular clinics each month!

We are delighted to introduce Procell Therapies and Microneedling to our Dunedin Clinic. These are scientifically proven treatments to enhance skin quality, and improve skin texture, reduce fine lines and wrinkles, minimizing pore size, some scarring, and addressing sun damage.

Procell Therapies vs Botox?

In the world of aesthetics, we're seeing a strong shift towards treatments for enhancing skin quality and supporting long-term skin health rather than only addressing surface-level concerns. While anti-wrinkle and dermal fillers certainly have their place – Procell Therapy Microchanneling is an effective treatment to increase the quality and health of the skin and overall result in a more youthful, glowing appearance.

You can have both Botox and Microneedling treatments - we recommend you space these treatments at least 2 weeks apart.

What is Procell Therapies? Microneedling Evolved!

Procell Therapies combines advanced microneedling techniques with the application of stem cell-derived growth factor and cytokine serums.

Microneedling involves creating millions of tiny needle punctures in the skin to induce the body's natural healing response and collagen production in the skin, improving elasticity, texture, tone, and minimising fine lines and wrinkles. Furthermore, it creates tiny channels that allow topical serums to penetrate deeper into the skin, improving their efficacy.

Ultimately, the secret of Procell is with in the serums, which further promote rejuvenation, enhance your results and even minimise the downtime post-treatment.

The Procell Therapy serums contain growth factors, peptides, and cytokines derived from human stem cell cultures (created in a lab). These bioactive molecules interact with skin cells through receptor-mediated signalling pathways, stimulating fibroblast activity and promoting collagen and elastin production. By enhancing extracellular matrix repair and reducing inflammation, these serums improve skin remodelling and accelerate healing, leading to enhanced treatment outcomes.

What does this all mean for your skin?

You can expect to see an improvement in skin texture, tone, fine lines, wrinkles, and elasticity. Additionally, there are a wide range of skin conditions such as rosacea, scarring, hyperpigmentation, sunspots and melasma, that Procell therapy treatments can significantly improve.
