Botulinum Toxin / anti-wrinkle treatments (otherwise known as Botox) are some of our most popular treatments at Transform Clinic Dunedin - a product we have been using for over 30 years. Botulinum toxin A may be used to treat a variety of areas and not just for anti-wrinkle treatment to the frown lines, forehead and crows feet.
· Wrinkle Reduction: Targeting frown lines, crow's feet, and forehead wrinkles.
· Preventative Measure: Proactively preventing the formation of new wrinkles.
· Medical Uses: Treating migraines, excessive sweating, and certain muscular disorders.
Botox®, Xeomin® or Dysport® are the brands we have available. Clinical studies have shown that all three products are similar in efficacy. The key difference is with the newer product of the three, Xeomin®, which goes through an extra purification step in the manufacturing process. The end product only contains the active part of the botulinum, meaning it is free from complexing proteins and this is believed to reduce the risk of resistance developing to the treatment over time.
Look refreshed, smoother, and more relaxed, while still looking like yourself.
